Some social media users especially participants of Twitter, arguably one of the most trusted medium of sending information to the youth are lambasting the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama for declaring victory for himself on Twitter.
These backlashes came after John Dramani Mahama Sent a Thank you messages to his followers, party supporters and Ghanaians in general for coming out to vote.
“Thank you for coming out to vote in today’s election. Very good results from all parts of the country” says Mahama in his tweet.
To him, he believes the battle has not ended and urged Ghanaians to be vigilant during the collation stage.
“We must continue to remain vigilant as we enter the results collation stage. Let’s stay focused and ROAR to the end.” He advised.
