The Member of Parliament reelect for Asuogyaman Constituency, Thomas Ampem Nyarko has thanked constituents for choosing humility and integrity over money in the just ended parliamentary election.
He said the people of Asuogyaman have demonstrated that the ” seat is not for sale “.
Certified Parliamentary results from Asuogyaman in the just ended December 7, 2020 election stated that the Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP Paul Asare -Ansah polled 23,201 as against the incumbent MP Thomas Ampem Nyarko of the NDC who won by 24,439 to retain the seat for a second term.
“It’s been exactly a week when you spoke loudly and clearly that the Asuogyaman seat is not for sale to the highest bidder.
You chose humility and integrity over money. You have taught all of us that you abhor politicians who exhibit violent tendencies. You have shown us that it is not the case that regardless of what one does, he/she cannot be re-elected. But rather if one serves well, the good people of Asuogyaman will renew his mandate.
