Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has predicted that Ghanaians will vote massively for NPP government in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
According to him, the 2020 Presidential elections would be a one-touch victory for President Akufo-Addo.
Mr Bernard Antwi-Boasiako stated that victory for the incumbent is assured simply because of the hard work and performance of his government.
He explained that the NPP would be approaching 2020 general elections like a party in opposition.
Mr Bernard Antwi-Boasiako added that NPP would make no room for complacency but with hard work, they will remain in power.
In an interview with Kumasi radio –station, Chairman Wontumi also predicted that the NPP will dominate the house of Parliament with 190 seats after the 2020 general elections.
Meanwhile, the ruling NPP has 169 seats in Parliament whereas the NDC has 106 seats.
