The CEO Dr Afua Asabea Asare and DCEO Mr Samuel Dentu of Ghana Export Promotion Authority on Wednesday met up with trainees of Ghana Export Promotions Authority’s “Youth in Export Programme”.
The essence of this programme as explained by Dr Asabea Asare is to support trainees to own their agricultural businesses and enable them to become independent exporters.
GEPA’s main goal for this programme is to help trainees with getting their products market; which is one of the major objectives of the National Export Development Strategy.
Trainees had an opportunity to share their interesting experiences since enrolling on the YiEP.
Deputy CEO of GEPA, Mr Samuel also advised trainees to remain resilient and determined to succeed and pledged the commitment of GEPA to addressing teething challenges of the YIEP.
