Brekum Chelsea defender Zakaria Fuseini says he is not perturbed despite being overlooked by the technical handlers of the Black Stars.
The budding guardsman has been one of the most outstanding defenders in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season for the side but was overlooked when Black Stars coach, C.K Akonnor named his 23-man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Akonnor handed call up to four local players which included Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Habib Mohammed (Kotoko), Kwadwo Amoako (Ashantigold), Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana Stars).
But the skipper of Brekum Chelsea says he is not worried after he was snub by the technical team.
Asked if he is worried, he said, “No, I’m not worried and will never feel disappointed because all those who were called deserves to be there. Going forward, I will work hard in my quest to play for the national team one day” he told Footballghana in an interview.
The former Wamanafo Mighty Royals player has, therefore, congratulated the four local players who made it to the Black Stars and has wished them well to succeed for the national team.
The in-form centre back has guided his side to 3rd place on the league log with 23 points after matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
