Zambia has commenced the administration of the oral cholera vaccine amid a countrywide outbreak of the water-borne disease.
Health authorities have already rolled out some doses in Lusaka’s Matero township, one of the worst affected areas.
Health authorities say that at least 363 people have been killed in the outbreak, 30% of them children under five, and 9,500 cholera cases have been reported to date.
