Zambia Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA is concerned with some poorly researched Radio phone-in-breakfast shows on issues of national interest.
Ms KASANDA says in many instances guests and callers are allowed to make unconfirmed claims without interrogation from the hosts.
She has appealed to Radio stations to research before hosting such programmes in order to guide the discussion well so that people are not misinformed.
Ms KASANDA says engaging citizens to on issues of public interest through early morning shows is commendable.
