Hon. Ben Abdullah Banda, Presidential Coordinator was the Chairman at the 5th Annual Ramadan Qur’an recitation and Thanksgiving prayers held at the National Mosque, Kanda.
The program organised under the auspices of the Second Lady of the Republic was held to seek Allah’s blessings for our nation, Ghana.
In attendance were the Second lady of the Republic, H.E Hajia Samira Bawumia, the CEO of MASLOC, Hajia Habibata Shani, the MCE for Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly, Hajia Salma Mohammed Sanni, the Director of Communication of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Richard Ahiagbah, the Board Chair of the Zongo Development Fund, Lawyer Seidu Nasigri among others.
Hon. Banda touted the achievement of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Bawumia Government through the Zongo Development Fund and specifically towards women empowerment.
The Second Lady presented to women present some items to aid in the Ramadan fast.
