Dennis Miracles Aboagye, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party’s media team, has denounced the government for embarrassing Ghana internationally.
He claims that this must go unpunished, particularly in light of the NDC’s opposition criticism of the administration of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s attempts to properly organize the All-African Games.
In a social media post, he said “The level of disgrace this NDC Government has brought to this country in the organization of the African Athletics competition must not go unpunished. This is a shame, complete shame”.
Participants in the 2026 games in Accra have expressed dissatisfaction with their accommodations and cuisine.
The stadium’s lack of technology to guarantee a smooth competition is even more concerning, as participants must wait multiple times to find out their times due to the absence of a timer.
