Media Spokesperson for the Church of Pentecost, Pastor Emmanuel Dana has said one hour is enough for them to run their church service as the government has outlined protocols for congregants to fight Covid-19 in the country.
According to him, the Church of Pentecost has accepted what Minister of Religious Affairs Kofi Dzamesi announced them at a press conference at the Information Ministry.
The President on Sunday, May 31, 2020, lifted the ban he placed on religious activities in the country by stating ardently that every religious activity should have a total number of 100 people in attendance.
“Chairman for the church of Pentecost Apostle Eric Nyamekye is ready to announce measures put in place by the Church in all local Assemblies in order to prevent the congregants from attracting the virus.” he revealed.
He added that the Church of Pentecost will obey and follow all the preventives measures laid by the Minister of Religious Affairs to help the government to curb COVID-19 in the country.
Speaking to Abena Pokua Awhenie on Dadi FM, Pastor Emmanuel Dana said worshiping God for an hour will not last forever because there is time for everything according to Ecclesiastes chapter three (3).
Pastor Emmanuel Dana went on and urged Ministers of God who cannot follow the protocol laid by the government to close their churches until the country record zero cases.
