The Koforidua- Effiduase District Police Command on Tuesday morning started an operation to enforce the wearing of a nose mask.
The Police mounted a checkpoint in front of the Police station on the main road of Effiduase to Central business city of Koforidua ensuring that drivers, passengers, and pedestrians wear a nose mask.
Some few passengers found without nose mask were removed from their Cars, cautioned, and insisted to buy one from vendors around before allowed leaving.
President Akufo-Addo on Sunday announced that wearing face mask is mandatory that Police should enforce the law.
Ghana’s total case count is now 12, 193 with 4,326 recoveries and 58 deaths.
