Ashantigold shot-stopper, Frank Boateng has reiterated his desire to win a continental trophy with the miners.
Boateng after joining the miners from Techiman City has been an integral member of the club and was on top form in the truncated 2019/2020 football season.
The former Techiman City goalkeeper went eight games clear without conceding a single goal in the Ghana Premier League season which was cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic.
“My target is to participate and win Africa for Ashantigold. As a player, you need to aim big and it is my main target to win more trophies for the club” he told Angel FM in Kumasi.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold have been selected to represent Ghana in next year’s Africa inter-club competitions.
