Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed says his target for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign remains unchanged as he set sights on winning the goal king accolade and the GPL title with the Dormaa based club.
The budding forward before the commencement of the 2019/2020 season targeted winning the GPL title, goal king, earn Black Stars call-up and subsequently move abroad.
The former Asante Kotoko was in line to achieve the aforementioned targets but unfortunately for him, the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic could not allow the striker to hit the target.
He scored 11 goals in 15 matches before the season was annulled.
Speaking to Hello FM, he said, “My target for the upcoming season is still unchanged. Last season, my aim was to win the goal King, win the league with Aduana Stars, earn a Black Stars call-up and if I get a lucrative deal outside I probably move”
“And by God’s grace, I nearly achieved all had it not been for the outbreak of the COVID-19,” he said.
The Ghana Premier League is set to return on November 13.
