Asante Kotoko trainer Maxwell Konadu is pleased with the fitness level of players after ending preseason camping in Koforidua.
On the Porcupine Warriors return to training after several months of inactive football due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, Konadu observed his players are rusty.
In spite of that, the team travelled to Koforidua to embark on three weeks preseason training in the bid to improve on the fitness level of the players for the forthcoming campaign.
However, according to Konadu, he is pleased with the player’s fitness level so far as he strongly believes they are prepared enough for the season.
“I think what we have achieved after three weeks preseason is good. We started by building the players on basic endurance, physicals, strength training and others. We have tested our levels and I think it is not bad”
“We are not at 100% but for now I think when there is a league match or any competition we can go in knowing very well that the boys can really do well,” he said.
