Medeama defender Bright Enchil has expressed his joy after scoring his first-ever Premier League goal for the club in their 2-0 win over Bechem United on Sunday.
The highly-rated left-back clipped in a fabulous strike into the bottom left corner to hand the Mauve and Yellows a deserved win over the Hunters at the Akoon Park and it was his first goal for the club since joining three seasons ago.
Speaking after the game, he expressed his delighted in getting his name on the scoresheet.
“Its feel good and amazing to score my first goal for the club. For me, it’s another dream come true. We worked hard for this victory and we look forward to more wins,” he told the club’s official website.
“I feel happy to have scored at the Akoon Park.
“It’s one game at a time and we hope to make it count as we journey on in the league.
Enchil has impressed since he returned to the starting XI after his earlier struggles against Great Olympics.
“I feel good about this goal. We played our fans but we got the drive, confidence and commitment to win this vital game.”
The two-time FA Cup holders travel to Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
