English Championship side Huddersfield Town are not prioritizing a move to sign Christian Atsu in the summer transfer window with the Terriers focusing instead on other key areas.
The 29-year-old is currently without a club after ending his spell with Premier League outfit Newcastle United with Huddersfield being linked with a potential move for the player.
Reports say the club are closing in on securing his signature.
But according to the English media outlet, Yorkshire Live, the club will not pursue a move for the player as they set sights on strengthening areas of the squad that need attention especially the full-back positions.
Atsu was linked with a move to Huddersfield in the summer of 2018 but the deal fell through.
