Medeama SC has terminated the contract of goalkeeper Frank Boateng after an unimpressive performance in their game against Hearts of Oak in the MTN FA Cup semifinal last Sunday.
Boateng, who joined the Yellow and Mauve, last year after ending his stint with Ashantigold after the expiration of his contract, is leaving the club after just ten months.
He was declared as surplus to requirements by the management of the Medeama SC after their disastrous 2020/21 season’s campaign.
A statement reads, “We have mutually parted ways with goalkeeper Frank Boateng”
“The club would like to thank Frank for his services and wish him well”
Boateng made 18 appearances for Medeama SC in the just ended Ghana Premier League season, conceding 15 goals.
