The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta will Thursday, March 23, 2022, have major engagement with the nation on measures that have been taken by the government to support the economy.
Ken Ofori Atta will be announcing the measures that have been taken by the government to tackle the economic challenges facing the country at the moment.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made this assertion at the meeting with Council of State members at the Jubilee House.
According to the President, the economy is going through difficult times but the government is capable of finding solutions to the challenge.
President Akufo-Addo said, “the Minister for Finance is going to have a major engagement with the nation on Thursday where he is going to be in the position to layout specifically the measures that we have taken or we intend to take to correct or put the ship of sail better.”
Meanwhile, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah averred that decisions are set to be announced by the Minister of Finance later this week after meeting key social and economic stakeholders.
