Percival Kofi Akpaloo, the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has criticized the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming that it has not lived up to Ghanaians’ expectations and should not be re-elected in the general election of 2028.
Mr. Akpaloo claimed that economic hardship remained a major worry and accused the government of failing to make significant advances in the lives of its inhabitants.
He claims that rather than upholding its promises to the electorate, the NDC has presided over circumstances that still plague Ghanaians.
Additionally, he expressed concerns about galamsey, or illicit small-scale mining.
“NDС has never fulfilled their promises to Ghanaians. They have rather brought hardship to Ghanaians; galamsey is now even worse,” he said while speaking on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
Mr Akpaloo maintained that voters should make the government’s record a major consideration as political parties prepare for the next general election.
“They do not deserve to win the 2028 election,” he stated.
