The Information Ministry has commenced collaborations with the British High Commission in Ghana to support the repositioning of Ghana’s Information Services Department (ISD).
According to the source, the Government Communication Services in the United Kingdom will be helpful in this regard to make it a success.
Commissioner, Harriet Thompson assured us of her cooperation and readiness to support our work of improving the media ecosystem in Ghana during a courtesy call.
She was optimistic Ghana will benefit immensely from the project to deepen and strengthen Ghana’s communication space.
In another development, the ministry also used the opportunity to highlight our support for the media through the National Media Commission (NMC) to roll out a framework to provide a safe space for journalists in Ghana and our media capacity enhancement programme.
