The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Asamankese District of the Eastern Region, is worried over recent rampant Ammeter theft in the capital operational area.
The District manager, Mr Justice Bandoh says the company’s property (Ammeter) which has been installed for private individuals for commercial purposes or domestic businesses is at the mercy of some unscrupulous individuals who steal the devices under the blind side of authorities.
He added the situation is affecting activities and operations of the company and therefore, called on the general public to inform the security of any individual or group of persons in an attempt to sell ammeters to them.
Mr Bandoh insisted his outfit would continue to put in its best to ensure people in its catchment areas are well served without difficulties.
