Emmanuel Kofi Agyemang, the District Chief Executive for Dormaa East District in the Bono Region has revealed that so much effort is been made to make the Wamfie Hospital meet the requirements of a Hospital as compared to its current state.
He said as Government and the Dormaa East District Assembly played their parts, he is also calling on cooperative organizations and well-meaning groups and individuals especially people from Wamfie to also come to their aid in the form of donations.
Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Agyemang made this disclosure in an interview with the media when he and his entourage visited the Dormaa East area.
The DCE was reacting to information going around that patients on admission at the Pediatric and Children’s wards were sleeping on the bare floor due to a lack of beds.
The DCE further stated the President Akufo-Addo-led NPP Government under his watch as DCE, has done very well to improve the status of the Wamfie Hospital and he is committed to solving all the challenges at the Pediatric and Children’s wards and also the Emergency and all other departments of the hospital.
He, however, assured the people of many policies that are yet to be rolled out in ensuring people in the area have a quality and well-equipped facility to access their health needs.
