The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has hinted it has lifted the ban placed on East Legon and Abelenkpe branches of Mawarko Fast Foods.
A press statement sighted by Mybrytnewsroom.com indicated that the La branch is still closed down whist the Spintex road branch is going through processes to be formally issued with the requisite Food Hygiene permit to start operations.
The FDA added that it has collaborated with the management of the Food outlet to train staff on Food safety management systems, ensured the implementation of their corrective actions and the institution of preventive measures.
The statement, however, assured the general public that the FDA will continue to strictly monitor all operations of Mawarko to ensure that all safety measures put in place are consistently applied.
The FDA on 12th May 2022 closed down Marwako restaurant shut after allegations of food poisoning were reported with many customers becoming victims.
