President Akufo-Addo has in accordance with Article 81 (a) of the Constitution has finally evoked the appointment of the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.
The Dome-Kwabenya MP has been in the news for sometime now, over her failure to attend parliamentary proceedings despite the many opportunities given her to explain the reasons behind her absenteeism.
Meanwhile, in a communique signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin indicated that the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah will continue to act as a Caretaker minister until a substantive minister is appointed.
Meanwhile, Parliament is yet to decide on the fate of the embattled lawmaker after it failed to take a stand on Thursday, 28th July, 2022.
