Residents of Two -Streams Electoral Area in Koforidua in the New Juaben South Municipality in the Eastern region have benefited from a health screening organized by the Citizen Tetteh Assembly member in collaboration with Mondy Foundation, Miss Health Ghana 2021 2nd Runner-up.
The health screening exercise forms part of the Assembly member’s social interventions to prioritize the health of the electorates.
Three hundred (300) residents were screened. Diabetes and hypertension were prevalent after the exercise.
The Assembly member Citizen Tetteh said “The highlight of the exercise was the incident of a man in his late 50s who had to be rushed to the Two Streams Medical Village Health Centre for further treatment upon advice from the Doctors as his health was deteriorating unknowingly to himself and his aged caretaker mother. We are happy he’s fine and has been discharged. I take this opportunity to thank God for using this opportunity to save a precious life.
I also thank Mondy Foundation, Miss Health Ghana 2021 2nd Runner-up, the Church of Pentecost (Two Streams Central), my Unit Committee Members, Community Elders, and everyone who contributed in diverse ways to the success of the Health screening exercise”
