Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo has stated categorically that the president, His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo’s decision of giving Ghanaians three months free water supply will only be of benefit to the people in both the upper class and middle class in the country.
According to the actor, people in the lower-income bracket who happens to be the majority in the country will still form queues to purchase water in their various neighbourhoods, as they patronize from people who sell water in poly tanks.
He added that the three months free water supply will benefit every Ghanaian but will be enjoyed by the rich in the society which makes it sad.
The actor wrote on twitter “I feel this 3 months’ free water for all is good but will only benefit the middle and upper class. Those in the lower-income bracket (they are the majority) still buy water in their neighbourhoods from those who sell them in poly tanks”.
John Dumelo is looking forward to becoming the next Member of Parliament as he represents his people in Ayawaso West Wuogon on the ticket of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2020 general elections.
