Roads and Highways Minister who also the MP for the Bantama Constituency, Hon Francis Asenso Boakye, has commended contractors working on inner roads in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality as well as Kasoa – Bawjiase road in the Awutu Senya West District respectively.
After touring the Kasoa – Walantu, Kasoa – Opeikuma – Gomoa Aprah through to Kasoa – Papaase – Bawjiase stretch, the minister was impressed with progress of work and is optimistic the projects will be completed in September this year.
Speaking to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, the minister vowed to settle any outstanding debt due any contractor who have been awarded a contract and working as expected but vowed to terminate unserious ones to be handed over to a new contractor.
Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya East Constituency Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson who spoked to Bryt FM News believes his colleague Minister is poised to making sure all roads within her constituency is completed by September.
She assured to follow up to ensure the Projects are completed as scheduled.
Meanwhile, Municipal Chief Executive for the Awutu Senya East Municipality Hon Anita Love Oboh Amissah also noted that indeed the NPp government has worked and still working seriously, hence the need for support to victory come December 7.
