Austin Ghamey, a labour has joined discussion on civil and local government Association of Ghana ( CLOGSAG) strike currently in session.
He said the situation is affecting Ghanaians since the strike was declared on November 7, 2024
During an interview with Bryt fm Adekye Mu Nsem with host Kwamina Sem Biney on Friday November 8, 2024, Mr. Ghamey noted that without the CLOGSAG, Ghanaians will find it difficult to transact business in public offices.
Mr. Austin Ghamey stated that “Ghanaians will find it hard to transact business especially those in Government institutions whose work is to control the activities of government businesses. This makes them unhappy due to the far distance they may come from”
He added that “No business can take place, even when you are doing digitalization in Ghana, because it’s a relationship business which must need a lot of people like those who will sign the documents, the accounting aspect of it must also be taken into consideration and so many things. But now we are on they are on strike and all these would be affected, which is a biggest problem for Ghana.
