Ghanaian national Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, has been extradited to the United States on Thursday morning, Asaase News has learnt.
This comes hours after his lawyer said he had been rushed to the Police Hospital in Accra and raised concerns over denial of access to legal counsel.
Kumi departed Ghana aboard Delta Airlines flight DL 157.
His lawyer, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, said he had been unable to locate or meet his client prior to the extradition.
