The Agenda 111 project by the Akufo-Addo led government is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, according to Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking at the Adeiso palace on Thursday 7th October 2021 in the Upper West Akim District, President Akufo-Addo assured Ghanaians the project would become a reality to promote quality health care.
He debunked the assertion by critics that the project is a mere promise and emphasized it would be a reality like other policies that have already been implemented by the government.
The Agenda 111 project is expected to build 111 hospitals in some districts across the country after a sod-cutting ceremony in August last year.
President Akufo-Addo also expressed gratitude to the people for voting Frederick Adom as the Member of Parliament (MP) on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Chief of Adeiso, Osabarima Nana Asare Oduro I in his speech commended President Akufo-Addo for the implementation of the Free SHS policy which has seen many children get access to education no matter one’s financial background.
He, therefore, appealed to Ghanaians to remember the President in prayers to deliver on his promises made before the 2020 general elections.
