Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have parted ways with head coach Eric Tinkler with immediate effect following the club’s 2-0 defeat to Aduana FC.
The decision comes after a disappointing result that has increased pressure on the technical team and raised concerns over the club’s recent performances.
Tinkler, who was appointed to lead the Porcupine Warriors, has now been relieved of his duties as the club seeks to stabilise the team and improve its results.
Asante Kotoko are expected to announce details of the interim coaching arrangements in the coming days.
The club’s management is yet to provide further details on the reasons behind the decision beyond the termination of Tinkler’s tenure following the defeat.
