Okyeame Kwame contends that music industry feuds are not constructive and have little effect on an artist’s ability to maintain relevance in the market.
The Yeeko hitmaker believes that the industry’s disputes were bad since the individuals involved frequently used insults. He made this claim in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
Regardless of who is involved in the conflict, in Okyeame Kwame’s opinion, it is still bad, and artists need to create a positive strategy to sell themselves and their work.
“My take on it is that it is not good, whether it men or women involved in the beef, it is not good. Because it does not bring money or development to the nation, it is not progressive.”
He did, however, say that while beefs would have been a great way for artists to market themselves, the insults involved undermine the act’s purpose.
“It is a beautiful way for artistes to express themselves but the insults involved is a no no for me,” he said.
