Koforidua based Bryt FM’s sports presenter, Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie affectionately called ‘Spanky’ has added the 2020 Eastern Regional Sports Show Host Of The Year award to his medal haul.
The organizers of the awards, Foklex Media at a colourful ceremony held at the National Theater in Accra adjudged Spanky as the best sports show host following his outstanding performance.
The multiple award-winning broadcasters beat off competition from Obuoba FM’s Baba Kankani, Samuel Anim, Robert Quotation, Dennis Acheampong and Enigyie FM’s Hello Kwaku to claim the prestigious award.
This is the second time he has scooped the award after winning the 2019 edition.
Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie is currently the Chairman of the Eastern Regional branch of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).
