Ghana has conducted a total of 1,781,277 COVID-19 tests from March 2020 to September 2021 with 128,368 positive cases and a positivity rate of 7.2%.
Out of the test conducted, 825,943 came from enhancing contact tracing, 520,927 at the Kotoka International Airport, and 433,407 from Routine Surveillance.
Ghana Health Service Report indicates that Active cases of COVID-19 in the Country as of 3rd October 2021 stand at 2,696.
COVID-19 related deaths in Ghana under the period is 1,158 and 43 patients are in critical and 119 in severe condition.
The number of positive cases recorded at the Kotoka International Airport since it was reopened in 2020 is 2,826 but 2,718 patients have recovered and been discharged.
Meanwhile, the total COVID-19 vaccine doses Administered as of 4th October is 2,025,183.
