The Driver of the District Chief Executive for Asene Akroso Manso in the Eastern Region has allegedly beaten the district planning officer during an altercation while the DCE Alex Incoom looked on unconcerned.
The driver, Kofi Adu alias Deba reportedly accosted and punched the planning officer Benjamin Quarcoo in the full glare of other staff and the DCE.
The victim lodged formal complaint at Oda District Police Command
According to the Municipal Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Daniel Amoako, he sent police investigators to invite the suspect to the Municipal Police Headquarters several times to assist in investigations, but on each occasion, the suspect has not responded to the police invitations.
The Commander said, police may go to court to apply for a warrant to arrest the suspect.
