A mentally ill man has allegedly killed his father at Brepaw a farming community in the Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on Easter Friday, April 10, 2020. The incident angered residents who nearly lynched the suspect Kofi Felix having brutalized him.
He was saved by the timely intervention by the local Police.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Asesewa Government Hospital Morgue.
The suspect is in Police custody.
