A rainstorm hit the Fefe community resulting in the damage of the only Basic school weeks ago disrupting academic exercise.
Management of the school informed the District Education Directorate to subsequently inform the district Assembly for emergency support to reroof the building. However, that was not forthcoming.
The Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, after his attention was drawn to the sad development, has presented packets of roofing sheets to the school to immediately reroof the facility for full academic work to resume.
The donations were made by the Constituency chairman of the NDC, Alhaji Moro Yakubu Hankuri on behalf of the MP; Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko similarly presented packets of roofing sheets to Korhwe basic school to complete the roofing of the facility.
The packets of roofing sheets were purchased with the MP’s share of the District Assembly Common Fund.
Headteachers and executives of the School management committees who received the items commended the lawmaker for his continuous support for education in the Constituency.
