On Wednesday, a Coalition of Religious Leaders in Yilo Krobo and Lower Manya Krobo municipalities visited the office of the Eastern Regional minister to raise concerns about the impasse between the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the people of the Kroboland.
They highlighted a number of factors that have led to the unfortunate situation, including misinformation and lack of education.
They have pledged to use their platform to educate their congregants.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong used the opportunity to explain the duty of the military and admonish our people to appreciate the new prepaid meter installed by ECG.
In attendance were the Chief Director of the ERCC Mr Samuel Donkor, and District Chief Executives of Lower Manya Krobo and Yilo Krobo.
