Senegal’s Lions of Teranga are set to face England’s Three Lions on December 4th in the round of 16 at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In response to the magnitude of the fixture, Gareth Southgate the head coach of the Three Lions notes being favourites to win but adds, “we must remember that we will be playing against a hazardous team.”
Senegal’s captain Kalidou Koulibaly spoke on their upcoming fixture and said, “We’re not listening to what’s being said because we believe in ourselves,” adding, “two-thirds of the world thought we were done after Sadio got injured but the other third, us and Africa had faith.”
