Former Black Stars B skipper Isaac Twum hopes the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League will continue after the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana Premier League was suspended in March due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The resumption of the league is unknown and with CAF’s directive to all member associations on the resumption of their leagues by 5 May, 2020 may see the current season cancelled.
According to the former Inter Allies player, who plays in Norway for IK Start, he will be happy should the season continue after the break.
“I will be happy if they continue with the league after the virus because if they cancel it, then it means we have gone two seasons without a competitive football in the country”
“I’m sure both coaches, players and club owners will be happy if we continue because clubs cannot go seasons without football yet players will have to take salary” he Bryt Power Sports.
