Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Francis Jojo Bossman has asked the current management of the club to fulfil their promises to the players if they are to reclaim lost glories.
Bossman who won the Ghana Premier League with the Phobians in an interview with Happy FM expressed worry about the club’s trophy drought and has, therefore charged the current management not replicates what previous management did if they are to achieve better results.
The combative midfielder shared that previous management teams of the Accra based club failed to deliver on their promises to the players which subsequently led to most of the players leaving the club with their relationship with the club battered or broken and has cited himself as an example.
According to him, his relationship with the club wasn’t the better at the time he was exiting for New Edubiase United because of the management at the time.
“Hearts owed me GHC 8,000 when I was about to leave for New Edubiase”
“Despite taking the GHC 10,000 from New Edubiase as my transfer fee they never paid me my money. Till date some of the players that I played with are still owed by the club.
These players will never wish the club well or even recommend players to the team.
So I urge the management team to fulfill their promises to the players”. He said. He proposed to the current management team should be able to maintain the current squad for long and most importantly deliver on any promise made to the players.
