Ghana moved up three places to 49th position in the latest FIFA ranking released on Wednesday, 7 April 2021 following their outstanding performance in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers last month.
The Black Stars shared the spoils with South Africa at the FNB Stadium before beating Sao Tome and Principe 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
On the Africa continent, Ghana moved up one place from the eighth position to seventh place behind leaders Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt.
