The days of erratic power outages are behind us. Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor (MP), has confirmed that major reforms have brought stability and a reliable power supply back to homes and businesses.
“When we assumed office, persistent and erratic power outages plagued the country. Now, we’ve seen remarkable improvement and reliable supply,” Mr Jinapor proudly announced at the Government #AccountabilitySeries.
“You can attest to the fact that we are now experiencing a reliable, uninterruptible supply of power.”
This positive shift is a direct result of the government’s focused efforts to address long-standing technical and financial challenges, alongside the modernisation of our energy infrastructure.
But that’s not all! The Ministry is also rolling out an ambitious five-year strategic document to supercharge Ghana’s renewable energy and green transition. This plan will serve as our blueprint for a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
The Minister stated that the government is committed to ensuring every Ghanaian has access to consistent power while building a greener tomorrow.
