There was chaos at Step to Christ Voters registration center in Kasoa in the Central Region Monday morning.
Gunshots were fired while three motorbikes belonging to members of the opposition National Democratic Congress were torched by persons believed to be members of the ruling NPP who are henchmen of Hawa Koomson the incumbent Member of Parliament.
The chaos brought the registration exercise to a halt.
Some eyewitnesses who escaped death told Bryt FM Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah that four gunshots were fired.
Meanwhile, NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Naa Koryor Okunor said this is the 12th times NPP hoodlum has attacked members of the NDC in the ongoing registration exercise in the Constituency while Police looks on unconcerned.
