Isaac Owusu Agyemang, the Eastern Regional Head of Sporting Activities, said they are currently investigating what occurred to a female who was allegedly raped.
Speaking with Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem and Kwamina Sam Biney, he revealed that the event occurred when everyone was transported from Koforidua Sechtech to the Koforidua Sports Stadium for an awards presentation.
“We moved as a group, so it’s unclear how she got left behind. We sacked everyone at the sports stadium, so we don’t know how this lady in question was left behind for this to happen to her, whether she accepted it or not. We are currently following up for more investigations since the information we are getting is not good.”. He stated.
He added that the girl and another woman had remained after their Physical Education teachers had sent them to the stadium.
“The lady is the only one who can explain how she got into the bush with the guys, whether she was forced or she went there willingly, and we have no idea, although people were claiming she was walking with the boys at the stadium”. He added
