Actor and aspiring Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency John Dumelo have said that he is ready to share 2,000Gb (2TB) worth of data among students of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
According to the actor, his decision was backed after engaging some class reps of the institution as a way of enhancing their online studies as the country still battle with coronavirus.
“I have been engaging some class reps on Gimpa campus since yesterday and I’m happy to announce that I will be sharing a total of 2Tb (2,000Gb) of data amongst some students on Gimpa campus to enhance their online lectures. God bless us all”. He wrote on Twitter.
However, some students have lamented the difficulty in coping with the move, as issues of data and unstable internet dominate the ability to access this new way of learning.
John Dumelo is looking accelerative to win the parliamentary seat at Ayawaso West Wuogon during the 2020 general elections.
