A 25-year-old man, Ampofo Bright, has been gruesomely murdered over a woman.
The incident occurred at Akyem Akwadum a community near Kibi in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Mybrytfmonline.com has gathered that, on June 16, 2020, about 9:15 pm, the father of the deceased Nana Boadu Atta, rushed to the Police station and reported that his son Ampofo Bright, had been stabbed by 29-year-old Avi Ernest aka Mawutor.
That suspect Mawutor, ex-boyfriend to the girlfriend of the late Ampofo by name Adobea Nancy, 24, was seen flirting with her in her house.
This led to a violent fisticuff between the two rivals which in the process Mawutor stabbed Ampofo to death.
The Police led by Detective Corporal David Obeng Nkrumah proceeded to the scene and met Ampofo Bright motionless in a pool of blood.
The body was hastily but carefully examined and photographs were taken in which the victim was rushed to the Kyebi Government Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by Medical Officer on duty.
The body has been deposited at the Morgue pending autopsy and investigation.
However, the Suspect is on the run.
