Former Hearts of Oak and 1978 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Mohammed Polo has asked the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to support clubs amid coronavirus crisis.
According to him, it is about time the Ghana FA thinks about the clubs as he strongly believes the FA will be null and void without the clubs.
FIFA and CAF announced COVID-19 relief packages of $500,000 and $185, 200 respectively for the Ghana FA.
However, Polo in an interview with Bryt FM in Koforidua entreated the leadership of the FA to see to it that clubs get their share of the money in these difficult times.
“I don’t want this current FA to emulate the old administration. They should make sure they give the club their shares of FIFA and CAF money”
“I heard them saying the money is not for the clubs, if it is not for them then it’sits for who? He quizzed.
