“After consultation with the Party delegates, Chiefs, Opinion Leaders and my Family, it is with a great sense of duty that I announce my intention to seek a renewed mandate to lead the National Democratic Congress in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency” incumbent lawmaker Sam George has emphasised.
“I have been honoured to lead the Party on two previous occasions to resounding victories in the general elections and I am confident that with a renewed mandate, we would deliver yet another historic victory in 2024 as we did in 2020”.
“My record of service over the past six years speaks for itself. It has been a privilege to represent the people of Ningo-Prampram in the august House of Parliament. I have dedicated myself to the human capital development of my Constituents from healthcare to education to livelihood empowerment and employable skills” he stated.
On his performance in parliament, Mr. Sam George revealed “From holding public officials to account on the Public Accounts Committee to fighting for better quality of service for consumers of Telecommunications services or restoration of radio licences to illegally closed down radio stations on the Communications Committee of Parliament to sponsoring a Private Members Bill in defence of our culture and traditions to lobbying for a fair share of development for my Constituents, I have been relentless in discharging my duty”.
“This would be a new chapter of our journey together and I am confident we would rise to victory for John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Samuel Nartey George on May 13th 2023 as a prelude to our December 7th 2024 victory” he assured.
