Ghanaians have been urged to remain resolute and hopeful for a better future for the country as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) takes back power in 2025.
Comrade Fohad Agbenyadzi, aspiring Eastern Regional Deputy Youth Organiser hopeful was of the view the NDC has got the capabilities to turn around the fortune of the economy which has been in shackles due to the poor governance of the current New Patriotic Party government.
Speaking to the reporter, the vibrant NDC Communicator found it challenging to understand the woeful performance of the Akufo-Addo-led government which has brought a burden on citizens for the past six years.
According to him, failure on the part of President Akufo-Addo to heed several alternatives has been a major setback for the country as many appointees are allowed to do what suits their interest instead of being nationalistic.
“Ghana’s current economic crisis is caused by the failure of the President and his appointees to develop a sense of patriotism and nationalism. If they have those attributes, then they can think about the country before their selfish parochial interests,” Comrade Agbenyadzi stated.
He also commented on the numerous corruption cases against many government appointees that have been left unattended because he believes the President has been lenient with them.
Comrade Fohad Agbenyadzi added “The next NDC government in 2025 will surely redeem the country from its economic woes and ensure good and pragmatic policies are put in place to develop the livelihood of Ghanaians.
On his ambition of becoming a Deputy Regional Youth Organiser, Comrade Agbenyadzi stressed the NDC currently needs exuberant, committed, dynamic and dedicated persons to take up such positions and that, he possesses all the qualities to help secure victory for the party in the region and Ghana at large.
